I cannot believe the last time I posted anything about our renovations was before Thanksgiving. I guess I hadn't done anything note worthy, but that has changed. Lee had vacation the middle of March for two weeks and he put me to work:) We finished the brick wall, pulled off the ceiling tiles, re-wired for a chandelier, fan, and front porch light, installed a new back door and hung dry wall. Our living room is a complete disaster but I have plenty of projects to keep me busy! I now need to finish dry-walling one wall, tape and mud all walls, and paint. I cannot wait until the living room is finished. Especially because we bought a new rug the day before the living room overhaul and I want it on my floor!!! We do need to have the floors re-finished but Im thinking that wont be soon.

Left of the plastic sack is how the wall has looked since August, brick with crumbling plaster and right of the bag is now. I cannot believe we lived with it like that for so long, YUCKY!

After the acid wash, before the sealer

Disaster Zone, thankfully its cleaner now than in the picture but our dining room table is in the same spot and is still our work table:(

The beautiful switch Lee installed last night...it will control my new fan and porch light! Holla!!
